The United Way of Iredell County works to improve our community and its people by uniting partners to meet local health and human service needs. We must all do our part, working United, to make our communities the places that we need them to be – equitable, respectful and opportunity-filled. We, as a society, can and must do better to guarantee that the basic human rights and freedoms of every person in every community are protected.
Through your donations, we were able to invest over one million dollars in local grants and services back into our local community during our 2023-24 reporting year. This represents funding to 60 non-profit partners and translates into 69,302 times we helped neighbors in need. Funds are distributed to health and human service agencies that help children, women, and men who are experiencing life changing crisis, at-risk and/or in poverty. Each agency addresses one or more of our three focus areas: Education, Income and or Health.
