Children's Homes of Iredell County

Children’s Homes of Iredell County (CHIC) is a non-profit organization that provides a safe and nurturing home-like environment for transitional aged youth (ages 15-21) in Iredell County, NC. Our mission is to come alongside young people with adverse childhood experiences and teach them how to care for themselves and the world around them. We believe that every young person has the potential to thrive and make a positive impact on their community.

Through structured daily living, care management, skill building, workforce development, financial literacy, educational programming, and aftercare we seek to make a profound impact on young people who, despite having experienced horrific traumas, chose to overcome and become resilient and productive members of society.
