Volunteer: Statesville's Night Out: Table VolunteersWe need Be Well Iredell table volunteers for Statesville's Night Out in downtown Statesville. The event is from 5:30-7:30pm on W. Broad Street and Mulberry Street. Volunteers will share information and resources for Be Well Iredell. Wear your Be Well Iredell shirt if you have one. Table volunteers are responsible for setup and breakdown (30 minutes allotted for each). Genevieve will arrange for you to pick up materials prior to the event. Information from the organizers of Statesville's Night Out: Join members of the Statesville Police Department and our community partners as we stand together against crime and violence in our neighborhoods. We will have free food, public safety displays, inflatables, entertainment, information and resources from community partners, and many other activities for everyone in our community. You’ll work with the Be Well Iredell team to schedule trainings, lead or co-lead sessions, and engage participants in learning practical, skills-based tools to support their own well-being and that of others. Ideal for: Individuals with strong communication skills, lived experience, or a background in education, mental health, public health, or community outreach. Training and materials are provided.
