Who We Are
Freedom Connection is a local outreach church, connecting our community reaching upward through faith in God, inward through hope in Christ and outward through love for all. Visit our website to learn more.
What We Do
As an outreach church, we serve our community through several ministries, locally, the Appalachian region and abroad. Since 2017, Freedom Connections has been serving the Appalachian Mountain communities bi-annually through the Back to School Bash in the summer and A Christmas Celebration in December. Both of these focus on children and teens, helping to provide them with necessary school supplies and brightening their holiday with gifts and food during the holidays.
In addition to that ministry, Freedom Connections is also comprised of several other ministries:
Freedom Connections Community Closet opens every 3rd weekend and is filled with donated household, clothing and shoes for all ages, baby items and some small furniture. All individuals are welcome to come to the "CC" to get items they need for any size donation. 100% of donations go back to support our outreach.
The Maidens and Matrons Boutique opens in conjunction with the Community Closet. Women & teens in need can shop at the Boutique at no cost to them. They can receive 2 bras, 3-4 pair of panties and an assortment pack of feminine hygiene.
Felicity Manor is a local organization serving Mooresville area widows and widowers. As a way to be of encouragement to all widows/widowers, with special emphasis on older and more isolated individuals, Volunteer Care Teams deliver holiday and birthday remembrances and reach out through various communication means to Mooresville area widowers registered in the Felicity Manor Community.
