Who We Are
Established in 1942, the Iredell County Health Department has worked hard for over 70 years to serve our citizens. We are funded through a combination of Federal, State and County money. County Commissioners have appointed an eleven-member Board of Health representatives to govern our operations. We provide a variety of clinical health care services, screening, informational programs, counseling, and education on disease prevention as well as dental care and nutrition services available to all citizens of Iredell County.
What We Do
The Iredell County Health Department, with locations in Statesville (704-878-5300) and Mooresville (704-660-3625), provides clinical services, immunizations, WIC, and environmental health services. It promotes community health through disease prevention, education, and inspections.
